March Self Portrait - Day 1

I enjoyed the self portrait a day challenge so much but I didn't do the whole month so I've decided to try again this month - one a day! So here is Day 1 with DGS Harry! No lipstick and with my mouth open is not a good look but with a 2 year old you just have to go with the flow!

Missing in Action

Yikes! Have I been away that long? I was introduced to Scrabulous on Facebook last week and I've become hooked, what's to become of me? No self portraits for the rest of February, oh well I did make it to the 24th which isn't too bad! So if anyone would like a game of Scrabulous - Scrabble really, they're just not allowed to call it that I guess - with me then join Facebook and look for Dawn S.
Today's layout is some old photos of Lauren & Becky that I took in 2002 in my garden before I started blogging and it became overgrown!

Self Portrait - Day 24

We left the party early last night to bring the very young ones home so the older young ones could party loudly without disturbing them. We had three grandchildren and a great-nephew and no spare beds! What fun -DH trying to blow up the double airbed while Harry kept running over it and general chaos all around while I tried to find sleeping bags, blankets and goodness knows what! A good time was had by all especially after breakfast when it was pillow fights with Poppa time!
After taking them all home we stopped on the way back over the harbour bridge to take a few photos of the low clouds over the city - weatherwise it was overcast and raining most of the day but still very humidly hot. This is what the Westhaven marina looks like on a rainy day - full!

Self Portrait - Day 23

A bit late with my self portrait for yesterday but I've had a hectic weekend. Had son & his wife's combined 40th birthday party last night and the weather was just horrible, can you see the wet tree in the background? Yesterday they had to go out and buy a couple of tarpaulins! This is Harry & I having a toast - well I nearly caught him with his eyes open! None of my photos turned out much good last night, I'm darned if I have much luck with using the flash at night, I've tried all sorts of settings, just stupid I guess!
